This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Yup, I'm going to upstate New York from the eleventh to either the fifteenth or sixteenth. I'll prolly be at the French Festival on my birthday so I'll see if my parents will let me buy something from my grandparents. I already got my gifts from my parents... which I'm kinda pissed off about just because they promised me that they'd get me KH2 (since the one I had I borrowed from someone in town) but no. They got me my new iPod (that I really don't mind) and two pairs of tank tops that are too skin tight for me at the moment. I still can't find anything that will work for me where I can loose fat and gain muscle. The only way I can gain muscle is with DDR, but that only works for my legs. I don't have a yoga mat so I can do that thing that my gym teacher taught me. I want one of those things I seen on TV. It's like a normal ab workout thing, but it also has rollers on the back to massage the back, which would be good for me and my slight back problems.

Yeah I got a lot of stuff to do. I'm a little consumed with my header on my IMVU page. Since that's going to be animated (15 creds if everything goes well) it will take me a little bit longer to make. I'm on hiatus with my picture for the 150 music picture challenge on my laptop until I go on vacation so I don't get distracted.
Aww, aren't you sad? Didn't wait for my reply. Here it is, in all it's glory. Let's clear this up. I do not hate goths--I just laugh at them. They're defensive, angry, and paranoid and therefore amuse me. Mocking amusement is not the same thing as hate. I said Static-X is mediocre (they have a few decent songs). Did you miss that? Or are your reading comprehension just that abysmal?
<quote>MY scanner is crap I needed to change the setting so the shadows could actually be seen.</quote> Then why didn't you do that? Or do it correctly? Or try until you got it right?
<quote>I don't have the right art pencil for details right now. I couldn't get the mouth how it was in the reference image. What am I going to do, walk out of my biology class and go to commercial art and ask for art pencils? Hell no!</quote> A good artist is resourceful. You don't need much for details--perhaps a mechanical pencil. Or at least in my experience.
<quote>And no, Tripp doesn't have eyebrows...</quote> WIN! I was not expecting to be right.
<quote>Hairy arms? Where the hell are you getting hairy arms? OK, I couldn't draw the left arm because he is not SHOWING IT [link] <-- look at the reference picture and tell me where his arm is. Those lines in the crappy shading I did are from my crappy pencil. I didn't have the mechanical pencil I use, I had to use a normal pencil you have to sharpen every ten seconds.</quote> The hairy arms refer to the right arm (viewer's left). I use those sort of lines to sketch out a figure when I'm trying to get an idea of how it will look--but I go back and refine them. You didn't, so he looks like a Sasquatch. Personally, I always liked the effect of the blunted tip of a pencil--smoother lines and easier shading. Speaking of which...
<quote>Lack of shading? I TRIED OK?!</quote> Did you? I noticed some decent shading on the shirt, but the rest of it was non-existent. The eyebrow ridge throws shadows unless there is very bright, very direct lighting on his face--which nothing else in the picture indicates, therefore nullifying your categorization of this picture as 'realism.'
<quote>Critique puts people down and I can improve on my own.</quote> Only if your ego is as fragile as glass. Is it? Are you that thin-skinned? Also, other people will notice things you do not. The artist often gets so wrapped up in the picture that they are blind to areas of improvement immediately after completing a piece. I ask for critiques of my photographs and this is why I have a beta for my writing. They catch things I miss. Also, sitting on a piece for a while after you finish it often gives you time to step away from it and allows for a clearer view of it. Something to think about: if you look at the DDs, you may notice that the artist asks for a critique--even though the pieces are often fantastic. There's always room for improvement and others will always see things you miss.
<quote>And where is it YOU GOD DAMN PLACE to even TELL me that I am going to always suck when you could stand for some improvement too.</quote> Don't put words in my mouth. NO WHERE did I say that I couldn't use some improvement as an artist. Go back and read the bleeding post.
<quote>I don't hate your realism--it's just sucks and needs improvement. <-- Oxymoron much? It's like saying "I'm not here on dA and yet I am right now!"</quote> Please engage your brain before responding. If I hated it, I wouldn't have given you advice. AGAIN, you have potential! I saw some decent bits and if you paid attention to my post, you would have noticed that I give you suggestions on what you can do better. Follow that advice, and you will improve.
